The Elan Insomnia Lite Ti skis are a carving specialist that feels most at home on groomed terrain. The Insomnia Lite features Elan’s Amhibio shape which is an asymmetrical rocker profile in the front of the ski with camber through the inside edge and some rocker on the outside edge of either ski. This helps the radius of the inside ski match up with the downhill ski allowing for very smooth turn initiation. A shaped metal laminate is placed over the core of the ski in a way that generates more power to the inside edge of each ski and allows for a bit more play in the tip of the outside edge, again, for smooth turn initiation and steadfast edge grip even on firm snow. The Insomnia Lite Ti is lightening quick edge to edge, thanks to its 76-millimeter waist width. This allows you to be quick, nimble and precise as you carve arcs into the snow.
